Black Stag is based upon the story of "the noble stag." The main premise of the tale is that a ruthless king is hunting the stag for the purpose of inflating his self aggrandised ego.

While chasing the stag, he is wounded, giving the stag the chance to destroy the King and ensure his own safety.

The stag, however, chooses not to take the easy and cowardly path, but rather spares the King despite his efforts to kill him.

And so, our brand is a reminder that though we might face killers and remorseless foes; let us not choose the quick and easy path
